From finish to start because I'm far from conventional and let's face it these times are anything but... but Lydia and Tom aced everything from the planning to the execution of their pandemic wedding (pt.1) last weekend, and it gave the warmest and friendliest and sunniest spring vibes.

"We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment".
My heart is unbelievably full as I set about editing Saturday's gloriously sunny wedding. Countless hurdles jumped in their path, but Lydia and Tom just kept dusting themselves off and wholeheartedly grabbed every single happy moment and made it their own. I have nothing but the utmost respect for you guys and wish you the brightest future.

Sitting here with a hot cup of cocoa because ya know, I'm so rock'n'roll and down with the kids. I've actually just finished delivering client galleries from last week's family sessions and am totally buzzing off of the loveliest of lovely McLovelyson feedback. It may sound soppy but it fills my heart with such joy to receive your kind words; I love that my work made you proud of your beautiful family, that it allowed you Mama to be in the moment where you belong, and that it captured such memories to bring a happy tear to your eye. And if this wasn't amazing enough for my first week back, I get to shoot an actual wedding with these amazing human beings in T-minus 42 hrs! I.think.I.might.just.pop! ... See MoreSee Less

Hump day people, I think not... how can it possibly be so when you get to deliver one of your littlest client's galleries and this is one of the frames. H is totally devoted to his baby brother and it utterly melted my heart. Mind you the extra warmth was needed here on this outdoor distanced shoot (this sneaky shot was actually taken from the garden through an open conservatory door)! Swoon. ... See MoreSee Less

BIG SISTER; she brought all the smiles and wiped his tears. As a Mama, I was really taken by this frame - I fell in love with the seeming banality of it which to me makes it everything. These are the moments, that connection. This is parenthood right here in all its messy, complex, priceless glory. ... See MoreSee Less
